Challenge: The client identified that the automation hardware controlling their machine was obsolete. Objective: To ensure the long-term reliability and sustainability of their investment. Solution: The project involved the strategic replacement of the CPU and I/O modules (Input/Output cards).
CSI AUTOMATION delivered the following solutions: - Performed reverse engineering to recover the original control logic. - Supplied and installed a new CP1E controller (Omron) featuring analog Input/Output expansion units. - Ensured seamless connectivity by retaining the existing communication setup with the HMI.
